2022 MSG Prime Minister's Cup
The 2022 MSG Prime Minister's Cup was held from 17–30 September 2022. Vanuatu hosted the competition with all matches being played at the Korman Stadium in Port Vila. The tournament was a resurrection of the Melanesia Cup which has not been held since the year 2000. It was a FIFA Tier-1 tournament. Format The six competing teams are divided into two groups. A total of 10 matches will be played on five matchdays. Matches Group A Group A consists of Papua New Guinea, host Vanuatu, and Vanuatu's development side. Group B Fiji, New Caledonia, and the Solomon Islands have been drawn into Group B. Port Vila

Micah Lea'alafa (born 1 June 1991) is a Solomon Islands professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for FK Beograd and captains the Solomon Islands national team. Career After failing to qualify for the 2014-15 OFC Champions League with Solomon Warriors, Lea'alafa moved abroad to Vanuatu to play for OFC Champions League runners-up Amicale. Following an unsuccessful trial at an unnamed club in Italy, Lea'alafa moved to Oceanian champions Auckland City in 2015. In July 2019 he joined the South African club Maritzburg United. Raphael Ohanua Lea'i Jr. (born 9 September 2003) is a Solomon Islands professional footballer who plays as a striker for Bosnian Premier League club Velež Mostar and the Solomon Islands national team. Luganville
Luganville is the second largest city in Vanuatu after the capital Port Vila; it is located on the island of Espiritu Santo and has a population of 18,062 as of the 2020 census.
