2022 Big Ten Conference Men's Soccer Season
The 2022 Big Ten Conference men's soccer season was the 31st season of College soccer in the United States, college soccer play for the Big Ten Conference and part of the 2022 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. This was the Big Ten's tenth season with 14 teams. The Maryland Terrapins were the Big Ten Champions. Previous season Penn State Nittany Lions men's soccer, Penn State were the Big Ten regular season champions, earning their first Big Ten regular season title since 2013. The Nittany Lions also completed the Double (association football), double by winning the 2021 Big Ten Men's Soccer tournament, making it their first Big Ten Conference Men's Soccer Tournament, tournament title since 2005. John Trask (soccer)
John Trask is the former head men's soccer coach at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, serving from 2010 through 2021. He was announced head soccer coach on January 20, 2010. From 2005 to 2009, he served as the head men's soccer coach at UIC. At UIC, his teams advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2006 (Round of 32), 2007 (Elite 8), and 2008 (Round of 16). Roman Marcello Celentano (born September 14, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Major League Soccer club FC Cincinnati.
