2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup Squads
This article lists the squads for the 2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup, the 20th edition of the AFC Women's Asian Cup. The tournament is a quadrennial women's international football tournament for national teams in Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation, and was held in India from 20 January to 6 February 2022. In the tournament there were twelve national teams involved. Each national team registered a squad of 23 players. The age listed for each player was on 20 January 2022, the first day of the tournament. The numbers of caps and goals listed for each player did not include any matches played after the start of tournament. The club listed is the club for which the player last played a competitive match prior to the tournament. The nationality for each club reflects the national association (not the league) to which the club is affiliated. 2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup
The 2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup was the 20th edition of the AFC Women's Asian Cup, the quadrennial international women's football tournament in Asia competed by the national teams in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). India was selected as the host nation by the AFC Women's Football Committee in June 2020. It was the first time that the country hosted the competition since 1979. On 28 January 2021, the AFC confirmed that the tournament would take place between 20 January and 6 February 2022, instead of the original scheduled dates of late October and early November. For the first time in the competition, the final tournament was expanded from eight teams to twelve. It served as the final stage of Asian qualification for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand (Regulations Article 4.6), in which Australia already qualifying automatically as co-hosts. Yang Lina (; born 13 April 1994) is a Chinese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga F club Levante Las Planas, on loan from Chinese Women's Super League club Shanghai Shengli, and the China national team.
