2021–22 Tulsa Golden Hurricane Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's basketball team represented the University of Tulsa during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Golden Hurricane, led by eighth-year head coach Frank Haith, played their home games at the Reynolds Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma as members of the American Athletic Conference. They finished the season 11–20, 4–14 in AAC play to finish in 10th place. They defeated Wichita State in the first round of the AAC tournament before losing to SMU in the second round. On March 12, 2022, head coach Frank Haith resigned. On March 22, the school named Louisiana Tech head coach Eric Konkol the team's new head coach. Previous season In a season limited due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Golden Hurricane finished the 2020–21 season 11–12, 7–9 in AAC play to finish in seventh place. Frank Haith
Frank James Haith Jr. (born November 3, 1965) is an American men's basketball coach, currently serving as an assistant coach at Texas A&M University. He previously served as head coach of the Tulsa Golden Hurricane from 2014 to 2022, and prior to that he served as the head coach at the University of Miami and the University of Missouri, leaving both programs in the midst of NCAA investigations. The 2021 American Athletic Conference men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the American Athletic Conference. Bethune–Cookman Wildcats Men's Basketball
The Bethune–Cookman Wildcats men's basketball team represents Bethune–Cookman University in the sport of basketball. The Wildcats compete in the NCAA Division I and the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). They play their home games in Moore Gymnasium on campus in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Iona Gaels men's basketball team represents Iona University in New Rochelle, New York in NCAA Division I competition.
