2021–22 Stetson Hatters Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Stetson Hatters men's basketball team represented Stetson University in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Hatters, led by third-year head coach Donnie Jones, played their home games at the Edmunds Center in DeLand, Florida as members of the East Division of the ASUN Conference. They finished the season 11–19, 5–11 in ASUN play to finish in last place in the East division. They lost in the first round of the ASUN tournament to Central Arkansas. Previous season In a season limited due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Hatters finished the 2020–21 season 12–15, 7–9 in ASUN play to finish in seventh place. In the ASUN tournament, the Hatters defeated Bellarmine before losing to Liberty in the semifinals. They received a bid to the College Basketball Invitational tournament. Donnie Jones (basketball)
Donald Isaac Jones Sr. (born July 7, 1966) is an American college basketball coach and former college basketball player. He is currently the men's head basketball coach at Stetson University. For the 2023-24 season, Jones led Stetson University to its first NCAA Tournament appearance in school history. Prior to Stetson, Jones served as the head coach of the UCF Knights men's basketball team from 2010 to 2016 and at Marshall from 2007 to 2010. After spending three years as head coach at Marshall, amassing a 55–41 record, Jones was hired by UCF after the university decided not to retain Kirk Speraw for the 2010–11 season. Before Marshall, Jones was an assistant with the Florida Gators for 11 seasons, and was hired by Marshall after he helped Billy Donovan coach the Gators to consecutive national championships in 2006 and 2007. 2020–21 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Men's Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers men's basketball team represented Coastal Carolina University in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Chanticleers, led by 14th-year head coach Cliff Ellis, played their home games at the HTC Center in Conway, South Carolina as members of the Sun Belt Conference. With the creation of divisions to cut down on travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they played in the East Division. they finished the season 18–8, 9–5 in Sun Belt play to finish in second place in the East Division. They defeated Troy in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt tournament before losing to Appalachian State in the semifinals. They received a bid to the College Basketball Invitational where they defeated Bryant and Stetson to advance to the CBI championship game. There they lost to Pepperdine. Westerville Central High School is a public high school located in Westerville, Ohio, northeast of Columbus. It is the newest of three high schools in the Westerville City School District. It opened in August 2003. History Westerville experienced a population boom in the late 1990s, particularly in Genoa Township in the northern part of the school district.
