The 2021–22 season was the 116th season in the existence of Sporting CP and the club's 88th consecutive season in the top flight of Portuguese football. Nuno Miguel Gomes dos Santos (born 13 February 1995) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a left winger or left wing-back for Sporting CP. Club career Benfica Born in Trofa, Porto District, Santos began his development at local C.D. Trofense before joining the ranks of FC Porto, and after a year at Rio Ave F.C. he signed for S.L. Sebastián Coates Nion (; born 7 October 1990) is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Uruguayan club Nacional. Antonio Adán Garrido (; born 13 May 1987) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper.
