2021–22 Southeast Missouri State Redhawks Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Southeast Missouri State Redhawks men's basketball team represented Southeast Missouri State University in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Redhawks, led by second-year head coach Brad Korn, played their home games at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri as members of the Ohio Valley Conference. Previous season In a season limited due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Redhawks finished the 2020–21 season 11–16, 9–11 in OVC play to finish in seventh place. They lost to Morehead State in the quarterfinals of the OVC tournament. Brad Korn
Brad Korn (born August 22, 1981) is an American basketball coach who is the current head coach of the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks men's basketball team. Playing career Korn played four years at Southern Illinois, three under Bruce Weber and one under Matt Painter and was a member of three-straight Salukis' NCAA Tournament appearances, including the Sweet 16 in 2002. Coaching career Korn would transition from playing to the Salukis' coaching staff under Chris Lowery, where he was part of another three-straight NCAA Tournament appearances and a Sweet 16 appearance in 2007. Following Lowery's firing from Southern Illinois, Korn joined Weber's staff at Kansas State for one season as the director of basketball operations before becoming an assistant coach at Missouri State from 2013 to 2016. Howard College
Howard College is a Public college, public community college with its main campus in Big Spring, Texas. It also has branch campuses in San Angelo, Texas, San Angelo and Lamesa, Texas, Lamesa. History Howard County Junior College was established in Big Spring in 1945. 148 students began lessons in September 1946, in the hospital wing of the former Big Spring Army Air Force Bombardier School (later Webb Air Force Base). Maryville Saints
The Maryville Saints are the athletic teams that represent Maryville University of St. Louis, located in Town and Country, Missouri, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Saints compete as members of the West Division of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) for 23 of their 24 varsity sports. The only current exception is men's volleyball, in which it competes as a de facto Division I independent. Men's volleyball will move to the GLVC when the conference begins sponsoring that sport in the 2026 season (2025–26 school year). Sikeston () is a city located both in southern Scott County and northern New Madrid County, in the state of Missouri, United States. It is situated just north of the "Missouri Bootheel", although many locals consider Sikeston a part of it. By way of Interstate 55, Interstate 57, and U.S. Route 60, Sikeston is close to the halfway point between St. Louis and Memphis, Tennessee and is four hours from Nashville. The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Horizon League for the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. They are coached by Doug Gottlieb. The Phoenix have appeared five times in the NCAA tournament, most recently in 2016. History The Green Bay men's basketball team began play in the 1969–70 school year where it competed at the NAIA level before moving to NCAA Division II in 1973.
