2021–22 Scarlets Season
The 2021–22 season was the 18th in the history of the Scarlets, a Welsh regional rugby union side based in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire. In this season, they competed in the inaugural United Rugby Championship and the Champions Cup. It was Dwayne Peel's first season as head coach of the region, following the departure of his predecessor Glenn Delaney. Dwayne Peel
Dwayne John Peel (born 31 August 1981) is a Welsh rugby union coach and former player. He was the most capped scrum-half for the Wales national rugby union team with 76 caps, until his record was surpassed by Mike Phillips on 16 March 2013. Youth and early career Peel was born in Carmarthen, Wales. He started his rugby career playing for Tumble RFC at Under-8s level. He attended Ysgol Gyfun Maes-yr-Yrfa in Cefneithin, and is a fluent Welsh speaker. He made his professional club debut for Llanelli RFC before joining the Llanelli Scarlets region at its creation in 2003. Corey Baldwin
Corey Baldwin (born 13 October 1998) is a Welsh rugby union player who plays for Dragons as a winger/centre. Professional career Baldwin made his senior debut in 2016 for Llandovery against Bedwas as a replacement. Just a month later, he made his debut for the Scarlets, scoring a try in the Anglo-Welsh Cup game against the Newport Gwent Dragons. In 2017, Baldwin was named in the Wales U20 squad for the first time. Robert Evans (born 14 April 1992) is a Welsh international rugby union player. He plays at prop for the Dragons. He previously played for the Scarlets Rugby career Evans made his regional debut for the Scarlets during the 2012–13 season, coming on as a substitute against Sale Sharks in the LV Cup. Daniel Jones (31 May 1875 - 1 January 1959) was a Welsh international rugby union scrum-half who played club rugby for Aberavon and international rugby for Wales. He is known as being the first player to represent Aberavon at international level. Jones was a tinplate furnaceman by occupation and lived in Taibach all his life. Kieran Richard Hardy (born 30 November 1995) is a Welsh professional rugby union player who primarily plays scrum-half for the Scarlets of the United Rugby Championship. He has also represented Wales at international level, having made his test debut against Georgia during the Autumn Nations Cup. Hardy has previously played for clubs such as the Jersey Reds in the past. Club career Hardy first played for local side Pontyberem RFC until the age of 16. Edinburgh Rugby (formerly Edinburgh Reivers, Edinburgh Gunners) is one of the two professional rugby union teams from Scotland. The club competes in the United Rugby Championship, along with the Glasgow Warriors, its oldest rival. Edinburgh plays most of its home games at Edinburgh Rugby Stadium. Steffan Hughes (born 17 February 1994) is a Welsh rugby union player who plays for Dragons RFC as a centre. Hughes previously played for the Scarlets regional team. He is a Wales Under-20 international and previously captained the side. Hughes made his debut for the Scarlets regional team in 2014 having previously played for the Scarlets academy. Tom Rogers (born 17 December 1998) is a Welsh international rugby union player. A wing or fullback, he plays rugby for the Scarlets. Rogers made his international debut on 3 July 2021, against Canada, and also represented Wales U20. Club career Rogers attended Ysgol Maes Y Gwendraeth, and came through the ranks at local club Cefneithin RFC before transferring to nearby Tumble RFC for youth rugby from where he was picked up by Scarlets academy. Leicester Tigers (officially Leicester Football Club) are a professional rugby union club based in Leicester, England. They play in Premiership Rugby, England's top division of rugby.
