2021–22 Saint Louis Billikens Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Saint Louis Billikens men's basketball team represented Saint Louis University during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach is Travis Ford in his sixth season at Saint Louis. The team played their home games at Chaifetz Arena as a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference. They finished the season 23–12, 12–6 in A-10 Play to finish in fifth place. They defeated La Salle and St. Bonaventure to advance to the semifinals of the A-10 tournament where they lost to Davidson. They received an at-large bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to Northern Iowa. Travis Ford
Travis Ford (born December 29, 1969) is an American former college basketball coach. He was head coach at Saint Louis University, Oklahoma State, Massachusetts, Eastern Kentucky and Campbellsville University. Prior to that, he played at the University of Missouri and the University of Kentucky. Early life Travis Ford was born in Madisonville, Kentucky on December 29, 1969. Playing career While attending Madisonville North Hopkins High School, Ford made three state tournament appearances and was Western Kentucky Player of the Year twice. He was named to the All-State Team, and earned 31.7 points as a senior. Ford entered the University of Missouri in 1989. He played basketball for the Missouri Tigers and was named to the Big Eight Conference All-Freshman team. Hasahn French (born March 9, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for Golden Eagle Ylli of the Kosovo Basketball Superleague. He played college basketball for the Saint Louis Billikens. High school career French grew up in Middletown, New York and did not play organized basketball until eighth grade, instead playing running back on youth league football teams. Cooksville, Maryland
Cooksville is an unincorporated community in Howard County, Maryland, United States. As of 2016, the population was 631. The town was founded by Thomas Cook in 1802. The Southeast Missouri State Redhawks men's basketball team represents Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, United States. Jordan Goodwin (born October 23, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). 2021 National Invitation Tournament
The 2021 National Invitation Tournament was a single-elimination tournament of 16 NCAA Division I men's college basketball teams that had not been selected to participate in the 2021 NCAA tournament. The Tournament began on March 17 and ended on March 28. All rounds were played at the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas or the UNT Coliseum in Denton, Texas. First-round games began on Wednesday, March 17, and was played through Saturday, March 20. Quarterfinals also took place Thursday, March 25. The semifinals and championship took place Saturday and Sunday, March 27 and 28.
