2021–22 North Dakota State Bison Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 North Dakota State Bison men's basketball team represented North Dakota State University in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bison, led by eighth-year head coach David Richman, played their home games at the Scheels Center in Fargo, North Dakota, as members of the Summit League. The Bison went into the Summit League tournament as the number 2 seed. They beat Denver and Oral Roberts before falling to South Dakota State in the championship game. Previous season The Bison finished the 2020–21 season 15–12, 11–5 in Summit League play to finish in third place. In the Summit League tournament, they defeated Kansas City in the quarterfinals, South Dakota in the semifinals, before falling to Oral Roberts in the championship game. David Richman
David Richman (born May 1, 1978) is an American basketball coach. He is the men's basketball head coach at North Dakota State University, a position he has held since 2015. Early life and education Richman was born on May 1, 1978, and grew up in Wahpeton, North Dakota. A 2002 graduate of North Dakota State with a degree in physical education, Richman received a master's degree in sport and recreation management from NDSU in 2005. Career He was an assistant coach with the Bison for 11 years. On April 8, 2014, after Saul Philips left to take the head coaching job at Ohio University, Richman was promoted to head coach of the Bison. Raytown South Senior High School is a high school located in Raytown, Missouri. The school was established in 1961, and graduated its first class of seniors in 1964. Northern State Wolves
The Northern State Wolves are the athletic teams that represent Northern State University, located in Aberdeen, South Dakota, U.S., in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Wolves compete as members of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference for all 13 varsity sports. Northern State has been a member of the conference since 1978, and they also have the fifth-smallest enrollment of the 16 member schools.
