2021–22 Navy Midshipmen Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Navy Midshipmen men's basketball team represented the United States Naval Academy in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Midshipmen, led by 11th-year head coach Ed DeChellis, played their home games at Alumni Hall in Annapolis, Maryland as members of the Patriot League. Previous season The Midshipmen finished the 2020–21 season 15–3, 12–1 in Patriot League play to finish as the South division champion. As the top seed in the Patriot League tournament, they were upset by #9 seed Loyola (MD) in the quarterfinals. Ed DeChellis
Edward Richard DeChellis (born November 14, 1958) is an American former college basketball coach. He most recently was the head men's basketball coach at the United States Naval Academy from 2011 to 2025. Previously he was the head coach at Penn State from 2003 to 2011 and at East Tennessee State from 1996 to 2003. At Penn State, DeChellis led the Nittany Lions to an NIT title in 2009 and an NCAA tournament berth in 2011. DeChellis' years at East Tennessee State yielded three conference division titles and one NCAA tournament berth. He was named the head coach at Navy in 2011, following the departure of Billy Lange. DeChellis received the 2009 Big Ten Coach of the Year award and 2006 National Coaches vs. Cancer Man of the Year. Pennridge School District
Pennridge School District is located approximately north of Philadelphia in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The district Pennridge was founded in 1952 by combining the resources of several small municipal school districts, including Sell-Perk School District. Collegiate School is a private, day, preparatory school for boys and girls located in Richmond, Virginia, United States. The student body of Collegiate comprises about 1,600 total students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12.
