2021–22 Kerala Women's League
The 2021–22 Kerala Women's League season was the third season of the Kerala Women's League. The season featured 6 teams and all the matches were played at single venue. The season was started in the mid of November 2021. The Kerala Football Association conducted the women's league after a gap 7 years. Logo On 29 October 2021, the official logo for the Scoreline Kerala Women’s League (KWL) was launched by MM Jacob, a former Indian international as well as former Kerala coach and player. The launch event was conducted after the final of the 23rd Senior Women’s Inter-District Championship at the Maharaja’s College Stadium Ground in Kochi. Gokulam Kerala FC Women is an Indian women's association football, women's football section of Gokulam Kerala FC. They participated in Indian Women's League (IWL), the premier women's football league in India. They won the first Indian Women's League, IWL In 2019–20 Indian Women's League season, 2019–20. They then retained the title in 2021–22 Indian Women's League season, 2021–22 and 2022–23 Indian Women's League season, 2022–23. The EMS Stadium, located in Kozhikode district, Kozhikode, Kerala, India, is a multi-purpose stadium primarily used for association football, football matches. University Stadium or Kerala University Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in the city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The stadium is used predominantly for association football, football and track and field, athletics. It also hosted cricket matches. Purameri is a Village Panchayat in Kozhikode district of North Malabar region in the Indian state of Kerala. The Indian Women's League (abbreviated as the IWL) is the women's top tier professional football league in India, founded in 2016. Currently, a total of 8 teams from across the country participate in the league. The competition was planned since 2014 and got established in 2016, with the first season starting from October 2016 in Cuttack, Odisha.
