2021–22 Kansas State Wildcats Women's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Kansas State Wildcats women's basketball team represented Kansas State University in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Wildcats were led by eighth-year head coach Jeff Mittie. They played their home games at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kansas and were members of the Big 12 Conference. On January 23, 2022 against Oklahoma Sooners women's basketball, Oklahoma, junior Ayoka Lee set an NCAA women's basketball record of 61 points in a single game, breaking the previous record of 60 points. Jeff Mittie
Jeffrey Dean Mittie (born June 24, 1966) is the current head coach of the Kansas State University women's basketball team. Career Prior to joining the Wildcats, he was the head coach of TCU Horned Frogs women's basketball team. He is the all-time wins leader at TCU with 303 wins. Miles Community College
Miles Community College is a public community college in Miles City, Montana. History The college was founded in 1939. For almost 20 years it operated out of a few rooms in the local public high school. In 1957, MCC moved into the former Milwaukee Railroad Depot building. In June 1967, the college moved into a new building that was constructed after passage of a bond issued by county voters. On April 4, 1970, voters of the district elected the first independent board of trustees for the college. In December 1971, Miles Community College was granted accreditation by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. During academic year 1971-72, a new student center was constructed. Baileyville is a census-designated place (CDP) in western Nemaha County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 182. It is located six miles west of Seneca on U.S. Route 36. History The community was founded as Haytown, then renamed by Willis J. Bailey and his father to Baileyville. In 1903, Willis became the 16th Governor of Kansas. The first post office in Baileyville was established in 1880. As of 1902, Baileyville was reported to be one of two sundown towns in the state, where African Americans were not allowed to reside.
