2021–22 IUPUI Jaguars Women's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 IUPUI Jaguars women's basketball team represented Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Jaguars, led by twelfth-year head coach Austin Parkinson, played their home games at the IUPUI Gymnasium in Indianapolis, Indiana as members of the Horizon League. They finished the season 24–5 overall and 18–2 in Horizon League play, to finish as co-champions of the regular season. As the first seed in the Horizon League Tournament, they earned a bye into the Quarterfinals where they defeated Robert Morris. They then went on to defeat Oakland in the Semifinals and Cleveland State in the Final to win the championship. As a result, the Jaguars received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament where they were the thirteenth seed in the Bridgeport Region. History On September 11, 1922, South Side High School opened its doors to students for the first time. Bourbonnais ( ) is a village in Kankakee County, Illinois, United States. The population was 18,164 at the 2020 census. History The village is named for François Jace Bourbonnais ''père'', a fur trapper, hunter and agent of the American Fur Company, who had married a Native American woman and arrived in the area near the fork of two major Indian trails and the Kankakee River circa 1830. The Iowa State Cyclones women's basketball team represents Iowa State University (ISU) and competes in the Big 12 Conference of NCAA Division I. The team is coached by Bill Fennelly, who is in his 30th year at Iowa State. The Cyclones play their home games at Hilton Coliseum on Iowa State's campus. Anderson is a city in and the county seat of Madison County, Indiana, United States. The population was 54,788 at the 2020 census. It is named after Chief William Anderson. The city is the headquarters of the Church of God and its Anderson University. Highlights of the city include the historic Paramount Theatre and the Gruenewald House.
