2021–22 DePaul Blue Demons Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 DePaul Blue Demons men's basketball team represented DePaul University during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by first year head coach Tony Stubblefield and played their home games at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois as members of the Big East Conference. Previous season In a season limited due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Blue Demons finished the 2020–21 season 5–14, 2–13 in Big East play to finish in last place. They defeated Providence in the first round of the Big East tournament before losing to UConn in the quarterfinals. After finishing in last place in the Big East for a fifth consecutive year, the school fired head coach Dave Leitao on March 15, 2021. Tony Stubblefield
Anthony Gerard Stubblefield (born March 28, 1970) is an American college basketball coach who is currently an assistant for the University of Oregon men's basketball team. He previously served as the head men's basketball coach at DePaul Blue Demons men's basketball, DePaul University. He was previously an assistant for the University of Cincinnati and New Mexico State University, where he also served as interim head coach during the 2004–2005 season due to Lou Henson's illness. Playing career Stubblefield starred at Broomfield (Colorado) High School and played two seasons at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming before transferring to Omaha Mavericks men's basketball, Nebraska–Omaha for his final two years of eligibility. The 2021 NBA draft, the 75th edition of the National Basketball Association's annual NBA draft, draft, was held on July 29, 2021, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Brooklyn, New York. The Miami Hurricanes men's basketball team is the college basketball team of the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. The team competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Charles Edward Moore (born February 3, 1998) is an American basketball player for Río Breogán of the Liga ACB, whose college basketball career spanned four major conferences culminating with a year for the Miami Hurricanes of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) during the 2021–22 ACC basketball season. He previously played a full season for the California Golden Bears and the Kansas Jayhawks as well as two seasons for the DePaul Blue Demons. UMBC Retrievers Men's Basketball
The UMBC Retrievers men's basketball team represents the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I competition as a member of the America East Conference. The Dayton Flyers men's basketball team is a college basketball program that competes in NCAA Division I and the Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) representing the University of Dayton in Ohio.
