2021–22 Crystal Palace F.C. Season
The 2021–22 season was Crystal Palace's ninth consecutive season in the Premier League (extending their longest ever spell in the top division of English football) and the 116th year in their history. This season, Palace participated in the Premier League, FA Cup and EFL Cup. The season covers the period from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022. Jack Butland (born 10 March 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Manchester United, on loan from Crystal Palace. Butland began his career with Birmingham City, and made his debut in the Football League in September 2011 while on loan to League Two club Cheltenham Town. Butland established himself as first choice keeper at St Andrew's in 2012–13 and was transferred to Premier League club Stoke City in January 2013 for a fee of £3.3 million.
