The 2021–22 CEV Women's Champions League was the 62nd edition of the highest level European volleyball club competition organised by the European Volleyball Confederation. The Women's CEV Champions League, formerly known as CEV Champions Cup (from 1960 to 2000), is the top official competition for women's volleyball clubs of Europe and takes place every year. It is organized by the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) and was created in 1960 as . On 13 November 2000, it was officially presented in Florence under a new format and renamed . Formula The competition has changed its format since the first fourteen teams took part at the inaugural edition in 1960–61. Through the era, as the number of participating teams has changed over time, the competition moved from an only knockout tournament to include a round-robin format between the final four competitors to determine the champion. ASPTT Mulhouse
ASPTT Mulhouse is a French women's volleyball club based in Mulhouse and playing in the Ligue AF. History The club was established in 1974 and has various women's teams (girls, juniors, senior) participating in local, regional and national competitions. The senior team participated in the lower divisions of the French Championships for the first time in 1975 and has since achieved promotions to reach the Ligue AF in 1992. 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship
The 2022 FIVB Women's Volleyball Club World Championship was the 15th edition of the tournament. It was held in Antalya, Turkey from 14 to 18 December. Six teams competed in the tournament. Qualification Venue Format Preliminary round Six teams divided into two pools of three teams each in a round-robin match. The top two teams of each pool advance to the semifinals. Quarterfinals
A single-elimination knockout, or sudden-death tournament is a type of elimination tournament where the loser of a match-up is immediately eliminated from the tournament. VK Dukla Liberec
VK Dukla Liberec () is a Czech volleyball club based in Liberec. The club was born in 1948 in Prague, and in its history changed its headquarters several times: in 1957 it moved from the Czechoslovak capital to the town of Kolín, in 1966 to Jihlava, and finally in 1969 settled permanently in Liberec. The words ''Dukla'' is the amount of Czech ''CSKA'', in fact represented the formation, in the years of Soviet control, the army of Czechoslovakia. Several athletes formed in the club became professional soldiers. Currently, after the reform of the army of the Czech Republic, the team is no longer made up of soldiers. Dukla boasts the victory of 17 championships and nine national Cups, but the most important result is the CEV European Champions Cup won in 1976.
