2021–22 BYU Cougars Women's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 BYU Cougars women's basketball team represented Brigham Young University during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. It was head coach Jeff Judkins's twenty first and final season at BYU. The Cougars, members of the West Coast Conference, played their home games at the Marriott Center. Before the season Departures Due to COVID-19 disruptions throughout college sports, the NCAA ruled that the 2020–21 season would not count against the eligibility of any women's basketball player. This meant that all seniors in 2020–21 had the option to return in 2021–22. Jeff Judkins
Jeff Reed Judkins (born March 27, 1956) is an American former professional basketball player and coach. He coached the Brigham Young University (BYU) BYU Cougars women's basketball, Cougars women's basketball team from 2001 to 2022, after serving as their assistant coach in 2000–01. A 6'6", 185-lb shooting guard, he played college basketball for the Utah Utes men's basketball, Utah Utes from 1974 to 1978 and had a career in the National Basketball Association, NBA from 1978 to 1983. Colgate Raiders
The Colgate Raiders are the athletic teams that represent Colgate University. The teams include men and women's basketball, cross country, ice hockey, lacrosse, rowing, soccer, swimming & diving, track and field and tennis. Men's sports include golf and football. Women's sports include field hockey, softball, and volleyball. The Raiders are members of the Patriot League for most sports, except for the men's and women's ice hockey teams, which compete in ECAC Hockey. Colgate is part of NCAA Division I for all varsity sports. Approximately 25% of students are involved in a varsity sport, and 80% of students are involved in some form of varsity, club, or intramural athletics. Wellington Girls' College was founded in 1883 in Wellington, New Zealand. At that time it was called Wellington Girls' High School. Wellington Girls' College is a year 9 to 13 state secondary school, located in Thorndon in central Wellington. History Seeing a need for higher education for girls the founding fathers of Wellington College leased a building in Abel Smith Street in 1882 and appointed Miss Martha Hamilton as the Lady Principal of the school.
