2021–22 Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Basketball Season
The 2021–22 Atlantic Coast Conference women's basketball season began with practices in October 2021, followed by the start of the 2021–22 NCAA Division I women's basketball season in November. Conference play started in November 2021 and will conclude on February 27, 2022. After the regular season, the 2022 ACC women's basketball tournament was held at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC for the 22nd time in 23 years. Florida State Seminoles Women's Basketball
The Florida State Seminoles women's basketball team represents Florida State University (variously Florida State or FSU) in the intercollegiate sport of basketball. The Seminoles compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I (NCAA), Division I and the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Jeff Walz
Jeffrey Jacob Walz (born October 27, 1971) is the head coach of the women's basketball team at the University of Louisville. In his second year as a head coach, he guided his team to a national championship appearance at the 2009 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, and led the Cardinals to a second championship game appearance in 2013 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, 2013. Auburn Tigers Women's Basketball
The Auburn Tigers women's basketball program is the intercollegiate women's basketball team that represents Auburn University. The school competes in the Southeastern Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Nell Fortner
Nell Fortner (born March 3, 1959) is an American college basketball coach. She is most well known for leading the 2000 Olympics team to a gold medal. She has received numerous awards including the 1997 National Coach of the Year, the 2000 USA Basketball Coach of the Year and the 2008 SEC Coach of the Year. In April 2018, she was inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. Fortner served as a TV analyst for ESPN from 2001-2004 before returning as the head women's basketball coach at Auburn University. In 2013, she returned to ESPN as a TV analyst. From 2019 to 2025, she was the women's basketball coach at Georgia Tech. Kara Marie Lawson (born February 14, 1981) is an American basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Duke Blue Devils women's basketball team. She played professionally in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and has also been a basketball television analyst for ESPN and the Washington Wizards. The Albany Great Danes women's basketball team is the basketball team that represents the University at Albany, SUNY in Albany, New York. The school's team currently competes in the America East Conference and plays its home games at SEFCU Arena. Joanna Lynn Bernabei-McNamee (born 1975) is an American college basketball coach who is currently head women's basketball coach at Boston College. Early life and education Born Joanna Lynn Bernabei in Weirton, West Virginia, Bernabei-McNamee graduated from Weirton Madonna High School in 1993. She helped Weirton Madonna win a girls' basketball state championship and also lettered in tennis and track at the school.
