2021 Wake Forest Demon Deacons Men's Soccer Team
The 2021 Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's soccer team represented Wake Forest University during the 2021 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. It was the 75th season of the university fielding a program. It was the program's seventh season with Bobby Muuss as head coach. The Demon Deacons played their home matches at Spry Stadium. The Demon Deacons finished the season 13–7–1 overall and 4–3–1 in ACC play to finish in third place in the Atlantic Division. As the sixth overall seed in the ACC Tournament they defeated Virginia in the first round before losing to Duke in the quarterfinals. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Bobby Muuss
Bobby Muuss is an American college soccer coach, currently serving as head coach of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's soccer team. Career He played college soccer at Southern Connecticut State. He was an assistant coach at the University of Connecticut, helping UConn win the 2000 NCAA Championship. After being an assistant coach at Wake Forest from 2001 to 2006, Muuss was hired to be the head coach at Denver in January 2007. 2020 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Men's Soccer Team
The 2020 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers men's soccer team represented Coastal Carolina University during the 2020 NCAA Division I men's soccer season and the 2020 Sun Belt Conference men's soccer season. The regular season was initially scheduled to begin on August 28 and concluded on November 6. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the regular season start was delayed to September 18, with Coastal Carolina playing their first game on October 10. It was the program's 43rd season fielding a men's varsity soccer team, and their 5th season in the Sun Belt. The 200 2season was Shaun Docking's 23rd year as head coach for the program. The Charlotte 49ers men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As of the upcoming 2022 season, the team is a member of the NCAA Division I American Athletic Conference (The American). Michael Dominic DeShields (born April 23, 1998) is an American soccer player who plays as a defender who currently plays for USL Championship side Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Career Early life DeShields was born in Baltimore, Maryland and attended the McDonogh School. Calvin Harris (born 20 March 2000) is an English professional footballer player who plays as a winger or forward for Major League Soccer club Colorado Rapids.
