2021 US Open – Wheelchair Quad Singles
Dylan Alcott defeated Niels Vink in the final, 7–5, 6–2 to win the quad singles wheelchair tennis title at the 2021 US Open. With the win, Alcott completed the  Golden Slam, becoming the first wheelchair tennis player to do so (alongside Diede de Groot in the  women's singles event). Dylan Martin Alcott, (born 4 December 1990) is an Australian former wheelchair tennis player, former wheelchair basketball player, radio host, actor, foundation founder, business owner and motivational speaker. Alcott was a member of the Australia men's national wheelchair basketball team, known colloquially as the Australian "Rollers". Niels Vink
Niels Vink (born 6 December 2002) is a Dutch wheelchair tennis player. Vink has won five Grand Slam singles titles, two at the French Open, two at Wimbledon and one at the US Open. He has also won nine Grand Slam doubles titles, all have been with Sam Schröder. At the 2020 Summer Paralympics, Vink won a gold medal with partner Sam Schröder in the Quad Doubles, and a bronze in the Quad Singles. David Wagner (born March 4, 1974) is an American wheelchair tennis player. Paralyzed from the mid-chest down and with thirty percent function in his hands, he competes in the quad division. He plays by taping the tennis racket to his hand. He is currently ranked number three in the world in singles and number two in doubles. Early life Wagner was born in Fullerton, California, and grew up in Walla Walla, Washington. He played basketball in high school and tennis in college. 2021 US Open (tennis)
The 2021 US Open was the 141st edition of tennis's US Open and the fourth and final Grand Slam event of the year. It was held on outdoor hardcourts at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York City. Daniil Medvedev won the men's singles title.
