2021 UCI Road World Championships – Men's Road Race
The men's road race of the 2021 UCI Road World Championships was a cycling event that took place on 26 September 2021 from Antwerp to Leuven, Belgium. Defending champion Julian Alaphilippe of France won the event in a solo victory. Qualification Qualification was based mainly on the UCI World Ranking by nations as of 17 August 2021. Rainbow Jersey
The rainbow jersey is the distinctive cycling jersey, jersey worn by the reigning World Cycling Championship, world champion in a cycling discipline, since 1927. The jersey is predominantly white with five horizontal bands in the Union Cycliste Internationale, UCI colours around the chest. From the bottom up the colours are: green, yellow, black, red and blue; the same colours that appear in the rings on the Olympic flag. Guillaume Boivin (born 25 May 1989) is a Canadian professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . Career Boivin's greatest cycling accomplishment was finishing in a dead heat for the bronze at the World Under-23 Road Race Championships in 2010.
