2021 Northeast Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2021 Northeast Conference men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Northeast Conference for the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The tournament took place March 6 and 9, 2021 and all tournament games were played on home arenas of the higher-seeded school. The tournament winner received the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. 2020–21 Bryant Bulldogs Men's Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Bryant Bulldogs men's basketball team represented Bryant University during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bulldogs are led by third-year head coach Jared Grasso, and play their home games at the Chace Athletic Center in Smithfield, Rhode Island as members of the Northeast Conference. They finished the season 15-7, 10-4 to finish in 2nd place. They defeated Sacred Heart in the semifinals of the NEC tournament before losing in the championship game to Mount St. Mary’s. The 2020–21 Northeast Conference men's basketball season began with practices in October 2020, followed by the start of the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. The Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) is a college athletic conference affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division II level. Member institutions are located in the northeastern United States in the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, and Vermont. Dan Engelstad
Daniel Engelstad (born October 11, 1984) is an American college basketball coach who is currently an assistant coach at Syracuse University. Prior to that, he was the head coach of the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers men's basketball team. Playing career Engelstad played college basketball at Division III St. Mary's College of Maryland, where he graduated as the school's all-time leader in assists. Coaching career Upon graduation, Engelstad joined Milan Brown's staff at Mount St. Mary's where he was on staff for the Mountaineers' 2008 NCAA tournament team. He followed Brown as an assistant coach at Holy Cross in 2010, where he stayed until 2013 when he accepted the head coaching position at Southern Vermont. NCAA Division II (D-II) is the intermediate-level division of competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Merrimack Warriors men's basketball team represents Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
