2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup
The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup was the seventh edition of the Men's T20 World Cup, formerly known as the ICC World Twenty20, a Twenty20 cricket tournament that took place from 17 October to 14 November 2021. The tournament was hosted by United Arab Emirates and Oman. It was scheduled to be hosted by Australia in 2020 but later postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tournament was scheduled to be held in Australia from 18 October to 15 November 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament was postponed to 2021, and relocated to India due to Australian entry restrictions; Australia would be awarded the 2022 tournament instead. Due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic situation in India, the tournament was re-located to sites in the United Arab Emirates and Oman, with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) remaining the official hosts. ICC World Test Championship
The ICC World Test Championship, often shortened to WTC, is a biennial cricket tournament organised by the International Cricket Council. It is played over two years and is the premier championship for Test cricket. The winners of the tournament are awarded the Test Mace, which was previously held by the leader of the Test Championship. South Africa are the current champions, having defeated Australia in the 2025 final at Lord's. WTC league games are organized by the host nation's cricket board, whereas the final is organized directly by the ICC. One Day International
One Day International (ODI) is a format of cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of fifty overs, with the game lasting up to 7 hours. The World Cup, generally held every four years, is played in this format. They are major matches and considered the highest standard of List A, limited-overs competition. The international one-day game is a late-twentieth-century development. The first ODI was played on 5 January 1971 between Australia and England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Mitchell Ross Marsh (born 20 October 1991) is an Australian international cricketer who represents Australia in all three formats. Marsh is the current Australian T20I captain, and has served as vice captain in all formats. The 2010 ICC World Twenty20 was the third edition of the Men's T20 World Cup, formerly known as the ICC World Twenty20, an international Twenty20 cricket tournament that was held in the West Indies between 30 April and 16 May 2010.
