2021 FAI Women's Cup
The 2021 FAI Women's Cup (known as The DMG Media, EVOKE.ie FAI Women's Cup for sponsorship reasons) is the 46th edition of Ireland's primary national knockout cup competition for women's association football teams. The nine Women's National League (Ireland), Women's National League (WNL) teams entered the competition, but unlike in previous years no Non-League football#Republic of Ireland, non-league teams took part. The competition began on 13 August 2021 with a single-fixture first round and concluded on 21 November 2021. The final was staged at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin, which had also hosted the previous year's final. The Cup holders Peamount United F.C., Peamount United were eliminated at the semi-final stage. Tallaght Stadium
Tallaght Stadium () is an List of association football stadiums in the Republic of Ireland, association football stadium in Ireland based in Tallaght, South Dublin. The club Shamrock Rovers F.C., Shamrock Rovers originally announced details of the stadium in July, 1996. The stadium is now owned and operated by South Dublin County Council with Shamrock Rovers as the anchor tenants. Stadium information The main stand holds home supporters, club officials and press. A second stand on the opposite (east) side of the ground, was completed in August, 2009. This stand holds the stadium's TV gantry and brought the seating capacity to 6,000 and currently houses away fans.
