The 2021 Big Ten men's basketball tournament was a postseason men's basketball Big Ten men's basketball tournament, tournament for the Big Ten Conference of the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season which took place March 10–14, 2021. The tournament was originally to be held at the United Center in Chicago, Chicago, Illinois. However, on February 9, the tournament was moved to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indianapolis, Indiana to better deal with testing concerns raised by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, COVID-19 pandemic. 2020–21 Illinois Fighting Illini men's basketball team, Illinois defeated 2020–21 Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball team, Ohio State 91–88 in overtime in the championship game to win the tournament. Lucas Oil Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in downtown Indianapolis, downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. It replaced the RCA Dome as the home field of the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). It opened on August 16, 2008. The stadium was constructed to allow the removal of the RCA Dome and expansion of the Indiana Convention Center on its site. The 2020–21 Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team represented the University of Wisconsin–Madison in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Aaron James Henry (born August 30, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for Fighting Eagles Nagoya of the Japanese B.League. Marcus Joshua Carr (born June 6, 1999) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Hapoel Nofar Energy Galil Elion of the Ligat Winner Sal.
