The 2021–22 season was Mansfield Town F.C., Mansfield Town's 125th year in their history and ninth consecutive season in EFL League Two, League Two. Along with the league, the club also competed in the 2021–22 FA Cup, FA Cup, the 2021–22 EFL Cup, EFL Cup and the 2021–22 EFL Trophy, EFL Trophy. Mansfield Town F
Mansfield is a market town and the administrative centre of the Mansfield District in Nottinghamshire, England. It is the largest town in the wider Mansfield Urban Area and the second largest settlement in Nottinghamshire (following the city of Nottingham). Henry III granted Mansfield the Royal Charter of a market town in 1227. The town lies in the Maun Valley, north of Nottingham. The district had a population of 110,500 at the 2021 census. Mansfield is the one local authority in Nottinghamshire with a publicly elected mayor, the Mayor of Mansfield. Mansfield in ancient times became the pre-eminent in importance amongst the towns of Sherwood Forest. Farrend Rawson
Farrend James Rawson (born 11 July 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a central defender for club Accrington Stanley. Career Rawson was born in Nottingham and began his footballing career at Derby County. On 3 June 2014 it was reported that Rawson had been offered a professional contract at Derby and would join the club's Under-21 team for the 2014–15 season. Keaton Ward
Keaton Ward (born 4 May 2000) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Altrincham. Early life Ward was born in Mansfield. Career After playing youth football for Mansfield Town, and playing for AFC Mansfield on a one-month loan in early 2019, he signed for Barnsley in July 2019 following a trial period at the club. In March 2020, Ward joined FC United of Manchester on a youth loan. In October 2020, he joined Gainsborough Trinity on loan. Tyrese Sinclair
Tyrese Sinclair (born 4 February 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for club York City. Career Mansfield Town Sinclair was released by Blackburn Rovers in 2017, and took part in a EFL trial day in February 2017. He later signed for Mansfield Town, where he was their 2018–19 youth Player of the Year, and where he turned professional in July 2019. Stephen Jude Quinn (born 1 April 1986) is an Irish professional Association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Mansfield Town F.C., Mansfield Town. He has also represented the Republic of Ireland national football team, Republic of Ireland national team. Ryan Darren Burke (born 23 November 2000) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a left back for League of Ireland First Division club Waterford. He joined English club Birmingham City from St Patrick's Athletic as a 16-year-old and made his Football League debut in July 2020. James Perch
James Robert Perch (born 28 September 1985) is an English former professional footballer. Perch was versatile and has covered many positions in both defence and across midfield. However, he is usually deployed at right back. Career Nottingham Forest Perch was born in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire and began his career at Nottingham Forest. He made 22 league appearances in his début season as Forest were relegated from the rebranded Football League Championship. George Shelvey
George William Shelvey (born 22 April 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Gateshead. Oliver Jack Hawkins (born 8 April 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker or centre back for side Barnet. Club career Early career Hawkins began his career at North Greenford United but it was at Hillingdon Borough where he really began to break through, scoring 10 goals during the 2010–11 season. Daniel Johnson (born 28 February 1993) is an English professional footballer, who plays as a striker. Johnson began his career in the youth academies at home-town club Middlesbrough and Hartlepool United but was released by both clubs without making a first-team appearance. George Maris
George Thomas Maris (born 6 March 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for club Mansfield Town. Career Maris began his career at Barnsley at under-15 level, signing his first professional contract on 29 May 2014 after a 20-goal season for the under-18s.
