The 2021–22 season was Mansfield Town F.C., Mansfield Town's 125th year in their history and ninth consecutive season in EFL League Two, League Two. Along with the league, the club also competed in the 2021–22 FA Cup, FA Cup, the 2021–22 EFL Cup, EFL Cup and the 2021–22 EFL Trophy, EFL Trophy. The season covered the period from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022. Mansfield Town F
Mansfield is a market town and the administrative centre of the Mansfield District in Nottinghamshire, England. It is the largest town in the wider Mansfield Urban Area and the second largest settlement in Nottinghamshire (following the city of Nottingham). Henry III granted Mansfield the Royal Charter of a market town in 1227. The town lies in the Maun Valley, north of Nottingham. The district had a population of 110,500 at the 2021 census. Mansfield is the one local authority in Nottinghamshire with a publicly elected mayor, the Mayor of Mansfield. Mansfield in ancient times became the pre-eminent in importance amongst the towns of Sherwood Forest. Farrend James Rawson (born 11 July 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a central defender for club Accrington Stanley. Career Rawson was born in Nottingham and began his footballing career at Derby County. Keaton Ward (born 4 May 2000) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Altrincham. Early life Ward was born in Mansfield. Career After playing youth football for Mansfield Town, and playing for AFC Mansfield on a one-month loan in early 2019, he signed for Barnsley in July 2019 following a trial period at the club. Tyrese Sinclair (born 4 February 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for club York City. Career Mansfield Town Sinclair was released by Blackburn Rovers in 2017, and took part in a EFL trial day in February 2017. James Robert Perch (born 28 September 1985) is an English former professional footballer. Perch was versatile and has covered many positions in both defence and across midfield. George Shelvey
George William Shelvey (born 22 April 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Gateshead. Oliver Jack Hawkins (born 8 April 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker or centre back for side Barnet. Johnson began his career in the youth academies at home-town club Middlesbrough and Hartlepool United but was released by both clubs without making a first-team appearance.
