2020–21 Watford F.C. Season
The 2020–21 season was the 122nd season in existence of Watford Football Club and their first season back in the EFL Championship, Championship following relegation from the Premier League in the 2019–20 Watford F.C. season, previous season. Watford competed in the 2020–21 FA Cup, FA Cup and in the 2020–21 EFL Cup, EFL Cup. With their win over Millwall F.C., Millwall on 24 April 2021, Watford confirmed their promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking. Watford () is a town and non-metropolitan district with Borough status in the United Kingdom, borough status in Hertfordshire, England, northwest of Central London, on the banks of the River Colne, Hertfordshire, River Colne. William Troost-Ekong
William Paul Troost-Ekong (born 1 September 1993) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Saudi Pro League club Al-Kholood. Born in the Netherlands, he captains the Nigeria national team. Born into a mixed Dutch and Nigerian family, Troost-Ekong was eligible for both the Netherlands and Nigeria at international level. Achraf Lazaar (; born 22 January 1992) is a Moroccan international footballer who last played as a left midfielder or left back for National Premier Leagues Victoria club Preston Lions. Adam Masina (; born 2 January 1994) is a Moroccan professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Italian club Torino, and the Morocco national team.
