2020–21 Towson Tigers Men's Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Towson Tigers men's basketball team represented Towson University during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Tigers, led by 10th-year head coach Pat Skerry, played their home games at the SECU Arena in Towson, Maryland as members of the Colonial Athletic Association. In a season limited due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, they finished the season 4–14, 3–9 in CAA play to finish ninth place. They lost to Elon in the first round of the CAA tournament. Previous season The Tigers finished the 2019–20 season 19–13, 12–6 in CAA play to finish in third place. They lost in the first round of the CAA tournament to Northeastern. Pat Skerry
Patrick Joseph Skerry (born January 21, 1970) is the head coach of the Towson Tigers men's basketball, Towson University Tigers men's basketball team. Biography Playing career Skerry played collegiate basketball at Tufts University where he set the school record for career assists (634) and single-season assists (198). Coaching career After graduation, Skerry joined his alma mater's coaching staff, where he spent three seasons before moving on to Stonehill College for the 1995–96 season. A year later he took his first head coaching job at Curry College at the age of 26. In two seasons at the helm of the Colonials, Skerry compiled a 24–25 record. The Long Beach State Beach men's basketball team represents California State University, Long Beach in Long Beach, California. The school's team competes in the Big West Conference. Because they won the 2024 Big West Conference men's basketball tournament, the team received an automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament; the last time Long Beach State competed in this tournament was 2012. High Point Panthers Men's Basketball
The High Point Panthers men's basketball team is the basketball team that represents High Point University in High Point, North Carolina in NCAA Division I competition. The school's team competes in the Big South Conference. They made their first ever appearance to the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2025. History The team, under the name High Point College, began play in the 1927–28 season with coach J.P. Boylin. The first game was on December 10, 1927, in a 37–35 win over the Carolina Night Hawks. 2019–20 Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners Men's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners men's basketball team represented California State University, Bakersfield in the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Roadrunners were led by ninth-year head coach Rod Barnes and played their home games at the Icardo Center as member of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 12–19, 6–10 in WAC play to finish in seventh place. They were set to be the No. 7 seed in the WAC tournament, however, the tournament was cancelled amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The season marked the final year in the WAC for the Roadrunners, as they will join the Big West Conference on July 1, 2020.
