2020–21 Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles Men's Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles men's basketball team represented Tennessee Technological University in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Golden Eagles, led by second-year head coach John Pelphrey, played their home games at the Eblen Center in Cookeville, Tennessee as members of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC). Previous season The Golden Eagles finished the 2019–20 season 9–22, 6–12 in OVC play, to finish in ninth place. They failed to qualify for the OVC tournament. John Pelphrey
John Leslie Pelphrey (born July 18, 1968) is an American college basketball coach, currently the head coach of the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles men's basketball, Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles. After being named Kentucky Mr. Basketball in 1987, he became a star college player at the University of Kentucky. After his playing career ended, Pelphrey became as an assistant coach under Eddie Sutton at Oklahoma State University–Stillwater, Oklahoma State University. He was then hired to serve under Billy Donovan at Marshall University and followed him to Florida. Pelphrey took his first head coaching job in 2002, when he was hired by the University of South Alabama, and in 2007 he was chosen to take the head coaching position at the University of Arkansas. The McCallie School
The McCallie School is a boys' college-preparatory school located on Missionary Ridge in Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States. The school was founded in 1905 and now has 322 boarding students in grades 9–12 and 657 day students in grades 6–12. History Brothers Spencer Jarnigan and James "Park" McCallie founded the school in 1905, which remained under the control of the family until a board of trustees assumed management of the school in 1937. Founded as an all-boys school, McCallie became a military school in the wake of World War I, with students wearing uniforms and participating in military drills. Orr Academy High School
Rezin Orr Academy High School is a public four-year high school bordered between the neighborhoods of West Garfield and Humboldt Park located on the West Side of Chicago, Illinois. It is a part of the Chicago Public Schools district and is managed by the Academy for Urban School Leadership. The school is named after labor leader Rezin Orr. Madisonville North Hopkins High School (MNHHS) located in Madisonville, Kentucky, United States, opened in fall 1968. The school, located on Hanson Road, replaced the old Madisonville High School.
