2020–21 S.C. Braga Season
The 2020–21 season was S.C. Braga's 100th season in existence and the club's 25th consecutive season in the top flight of Portuguese football. In addition to the domestic league, S.C. Braga participated in this season's editions of the Taça de Portugal, the Taça da Liga and the UEFA Europa League. The season covered the period from 26 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. On 23 May 2021, Braga defeated Benfica in the 2021 Taça de Portugal Final to claim their third win in the competition in club history. Carlos Carvalhal
Carlos Augusto Soares da Costa Faria Carvalhal (; born 4 December 1965) is a Portuguese former Association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football)#Centre-back, centre-back, currently a Manager (association football), manager. As a player, he totalled 197 Primeira Liga appearances in service of six clubs, including three stints at S.C. Braga, Braga and two at G.D. Chaves, Chaves, as well as a single game for FC Porto, Porto. Vítor Tormena de Farias (born 4 January 1996) is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a centre-back for Russian Premier League club Krasnodar. Formed at São Paulo where he played only in the Copa Paulista, he played most of his career in Portugal, making 126 appearances for Braga with whom he won the Taça da Liga (2020) and Taça de Portugal (2021). Rui Pedro da Rocha Fonte (born 23 April 1990) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a forward. After signing for Arsenal as a 16-year-old, he only made one competitive appearance for the club before signing with Sporting CP, who loaned him several times for the duration of his contract, including at Espanyol, who acquired him permanently in 2011.
