2020–21 Rangers F.C. Season
The 2020–21 season was the 141st season of competitive Association football, football by Rangers F.C., Rangers. Rangers played a total of 56 competitive matches during the 2020−21 season. On 7 March 2021, Rangers clinched the Premiership title, their 55th Scottish championship, after rivals Celtic F.C., Celtic drew 0–0 away to Dundee United F.C., Dundee United. It was Rangers' first league title in a decade and the first time Celtic Nine in a row, had not finished as league champions in that same span. With a 4–0 win over Aberdeen F.C., Aberdeen on the final day of the season, Rangers sealed an List of unbeaten football club seasons, undefeated league season and became the first club since Celtic in 2016–17 to reach the 100 point milestone. Bongani Zungu (born 9 October 1992) is a South African professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for AmaZulu F.C., Amazulu and the South Africa national soccer team, South Africa national team. Ryan Kent (born 11 November 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward or winger for Major League Soccer club Seattle Sounders FC. He had previously played for teams in England, Germany, Scotland, and Turkey. A graduate of the Liverpool academy, Kent made his single first-team appearance for the club in January 2016, after a loan spell with Coventry City. Andrew Firth (born 26 September 1996) is an English football coach and former professional player who is a goalkeeping coach for Saudi Pro League club Al-Ettifaq. Early and personal life Firth was born in Ripon, North Yorkshire. Career Firth began his career with Cockermouth. He joined Liverpool at under-11 level. He spent time on loan at Witton Albion in 2015, and moved on loan to Chester in January 2018, and made 11 appearances for the club before returning to Liverpool in May. Cedric Jan Itten (born 27 December 1996) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a centre forward for Swiss club Young Boys and the Switzerland national team. Steven Davis (born 1 January 1985) is a Northern Irish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He made his full international debut in 2005 and made 140 appearances at senior level, scoring 13 goals, to become the most capped Northern Ireland player, also a record for any man from the British home nations. Connor Lambert Goldson (born 18 December 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays for Aris Limassol. Filip Viktor Helander (born 22 April 1993) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Cypriot club AC Omonia and for the Sweden national team.
