The 2020–21 Purdue Boilermakers men's basketball team represented Purdue University in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach is Matt Painter in his 16th season with the Boilermakers. The Boilers play their home games at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Indiana as members of the Big Ten Conference. Matt Painter
Matthew Curtis Painter (born August 27, 1970) is an American basketball coach and former player, who is the current and 19th head coach of the Purdue Boilermakers men's basketball, Purdue Boilermakers, serving in that role since 2005. He played college basketball at Purdue from 1989 to 1993. He was also the head coach of the Southern Illinois Salukis men's basketball, Southern Illinois Salukis from 2003 to 2004. Painter was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He attended high school at Delta High School (Muncie, Indiana), Delta High School in Muncie, Indiana. 2020–21 Howard Bison Men's Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Howard Bison men's basketball team represented Howard University in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bison, led by second-year head coach Kenny Blakeney, played their home games at Burr Gymnasium in Washington, D.C. as members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). With the creation of divisions to cut down on travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they will play in the Northern Division. The 2020–21 BYU Cougars men's basketball team represented Brigham Young University in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. It was head coach Mark Pope's second season as BYU's head coach and the Cougars tenth season as members of the West Coast Conference (WCC). Matt Haarms (born 22 April 1997) is a Dutch professional basketball player for Kagoshima Rebnise of the B.League. He played college basketball for the Purdue Boilermakers and the BYU Cougars. Haarms also plays for the Netherlands men's national basketball team. Early life Haarms is the son of Martine van Hoorn and Peter Haarms. He was born and grew up in Amsterdam.
