2020–21 Louisville Cardinals Women's Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Louisville Cardinals women's basketball team represented the University of Louisville during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Cardinals, were led by 14th-year head coach Jeff Walz, and played their home games at the KFC Yum! Center in their seventh year in the Atlantic Coast Conference. On January 18, 2021, following a 12–0 start, the Cardinals were ranked number 1 in the AP Poll for the first time in program history, garnering 20 of 29 first place votes. The Cardinals finished the season 26–4 and 14–2 in 2020–21 Atlantic Coast Conference women's basketball season, ACC play to finish in first place. Jeff Walz
Jeffrey Jacob Walz (born October 27, 1971) is the head coach of the women's basketball team at the University of Louisville. In his second year as a head coach, he guided his team to a national championship appearance at the 2009 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, and led the Cardinals to a second championship game appearance in 2013 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, 2013. 2019–20 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Season
The 2019–20 NCAA Division I women's basketball season began in November 2019 and concluded prematurely on March 12, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament was scheduled to end at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 5, 2020, but was ultimately canceled. All other postseason tournaments were canceled as well. It was the first cancellation in the history of the NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament. Kylee Shook (born March 18, 1998) is an American professional basketball player. She played college basketball for the Louisville Cardinals. College career Shook played college basketball for the Louisville Cardinals from 2016 to 2020, in her freshman season, she averaged 5.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. In her Sophomore season, she averaged 4.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. In her Junior year, she averaged 7.1 points, 6 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. The UT Martin Skyhawks women's basketball team is the team that represents the University of Tennessee at Martin in Martin, Tennessee, United States.
