2020–21 Icelandic Men's Basketball Cup
The 2020–2021 Bikarkeppni karla, named Vís bikarinn for sponsorship reasons, was the 55th edition of the Icelandic Men's Basketball Cup, won by Njarðvík against Stjarnan. The competition was managed by the Icelandic Basketball Association (KKÍ) and the cup final was played in Smárinn, Kópavogur, and broadcast live on RÚV. Kópavogur
Kópavogur () is a town in Iceland that is the country's second largest municipality by population. It lies immediately south of Reykjavík and is part of the Capital Region. The name literally means ''seal pup inlet''. The town seal contains the profile of the church Kópavogskirkja with a seal pup underneath. Ríkisútvarpið (RÚV) (pronounced or ) ( en, 'The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service') is Iceland's national public-service broadcasting organization. Keflavík Men's Basketball
The Keflavík men's basketball team, commonly known as Keflavík, is the men's professional basketball department of Keflavík ÍF (Keflavík, íþrótta- og ungmennafélag), based in the town of Reykjanesbær in Iceland. They currently play in Úrvalsdeild karla. Rivalry with Njarðvík Keflavík's biggest rivals are their closest neighbours, Njarðvík. The teams are both based in Reykjanesbær. Keflavík and Njarðvík were neighbouring towns but were merged in 1994 and formed Reykjanesbær. Their arenas are within one kilometre of each other. Ungmennafélagið Sindri, commonly known as Sindri, is an Icelandic multi-sports club from the town of Höfn located on the east coast of Iceland. It fields departments in basketball, football, gymnastics, swimming, track & field and volleyball.
