2020–21 Exeter City F.C. Season
The 2020–21 Exeter City F.C., Exeter City season was the club's 119th year in existence and their ninth consecutive season in EFL League Two, League Two. They finished 9th in the league, failing to qualify for the play-offs on the final day. The club reached the third round of the FA Cup, losing to Championship side Sheffield Wednesday F.C., Sheffield Wednesday. City were eliminated in the first round of the 2020–21 EFL Cup, EFL Cup by Bristol City F.C., Bristol City, and were knocked out of the 2020–21 EFL Trophy, EFL Trophy in the second round by Northampton Town F.C., Northampton Town. The season covers the period from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. Joel John Randall (born 29 October 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Bolton Wanderers. Career Despite being a boyhood Southampton fan, Randall joined the Exeter City Academy at U11's after being spotted at one of the club's development centres. He started a scholarship with the club in the summer of 2016. Alexander Anthony Fisher (born 30 June 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for side Bath City. The County Ground is a football stadium located in Swindon, Wiltshire, England, and has been home to Swindon Town Football Club since 1896. It has an all-seated capacity of 15,728 currently, which has been the same level since the mid-1990s. Alex Duncan Hartridge (born 9 March 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for club Wycombe Wanderers. Benjamin Mark Seymour (born 16 April 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for club AFC Totton on loan from Torquay United.
