2020–21 Boston College Eagles Women's Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Boston College Eagles women's basketball team represented Boston College during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Eagles were led by third year head coach Joanna Bernabei-McNamee. They played their home games at the Conte Forum and are members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Eagles finished the season 7–12 and 2–11 in ACC play to finish in a thirteenth place. In the ACC tournament, they defeated 2020–21 Pittsburgh Panthers women's basketball team, Pittsburgh in the First Round before losing to 2020–21 Syracuse Orange women's basketball team, Syracuse in the Second Round. They were not invited to the 2021 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, NCAA tournament or the 2021 Women's National Invitation Tournament, WNIT. Joanna Bernabei-McNamee
Joanna Lynn Bernabei-McNamee (born 1975) is an American college basketball coach who is currently head women's basketball coach at Boston College. Early life and education Born Joanna Lynn Bernabei in Weirton, West Virginia, Bernabei-McNamee graduated from Weirton Madonna High School in 1993. She helped Weirton Madonna win a girls' basketball state championship and also lettered in tennis and track at the school. After high school, she enrolled at West Liberty University, West Liberty State College. A point guard, Bernabei-McNamee was a four-year all-WVIAC honoree and reached both 1,000 points and 1,000 assists plus over 500 rebounds in her collegiate career. 2020 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament
The 2020 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament was scheduled to be played in March and April 2020, with the Final Four played Friday, April 3 and Sunday, April 5 to determine the champion of the 2019–20 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Final Four was planned to be played at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, with the University of New Orleans, Tulane University and the Sun Belt Conference serving as hosts. This is the fourth time that New Orleans has been selected as a women's Final Four location (previously, in 1991, 2004, and 2013) and third time at the Smoothie King Center (previously named New Orleans Arena); the 1991 Final Four was contested at the University of New Orleans' Lakefront Arena. Westtown School is a Quaker, coeducational, college preparatory day and boarding school for students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade, located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, United States, 20 miles west of Philadelphia. Georgetown Hoyas Women's Basketball
The Georgetown Hoyas women's basketball team is Georgetown University's women's basketball program in the NCAA Division I Big East Conference. The team was first formed in 1970, and joined the Big East in 1983. They play their home games on campus at McDonough Gymnasium. The women's teams have been invited to the NCAA tournament four times, reaching the Sweet Sixteen in 1993 and 2011, and the second round in 2010 and 2012. Belle Glade, Florida
Belle Glade is a city in south-central Florida and it is the far western part of Palm Beach County, Florida, United States, on the southeastern shore of Lake Okeechobee. Milan Bolden-Morris
Milan "Mimi" Bolden-Morris is a former basketball player for the Boston College Eagles and Georgetown Hoyas, and a former graduate assistant football coach for the Michigan Wolverines. Early life and education Bolden-Morris is from Belle Glade, Florida, and attended Cardinal Newman High School. Bolden-Morris's father, Michael, is a policeman and her mother, Melanie, is a high school principal. In high school, she was the president of her school's National Honor Society. Growing up, she played baseball, softball, and flag football.
