2020–21 Air Force Falcons Men's Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Air Force Falcons men's basketball team represented the United States Air Force Academy during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Falcons, led by head coach Joe Scott in his first-season and fifth overall after coaching at Air Force from 2000 to 2004, played their home games at the Clune Arena on the Air Force Academy's main campus in Colorado Springs, Colorado as members of the Mountain West Conference. Previous season The Falcons finished the season 12–20, 5–13 in Mountain West play to finish in ninth place. They defeated Fresno State in the first round of the Mountain West tournament before losing in the quarterfinals to San Diego State. On March 9, 2020, head coach Dave Pilipovich was fired. Joe Scott (basketball Coach)
Joseph Winston Scott (born July 28, 1965) is an American college basketball coach who is currently in his second stint as the head coach at Air Force. Scott previously was head coach at Air Force once before, as well as at Princeton and Denver. Early life and education Growing up on Pelican Island near Toms River, New Jersey, Scott played baseball, basketball and football at Toms River High School East, where he set the school's basketball career scoring record. Scott played at point guard in high school and set a school record for career basketball points with 1,550. Scott served as captain 1986–87 Princeton Tigers men's basketball team. As a player in the mid-1980s, Scott learned the " Princeton offense," a methodical system that seeks high-percentage shots by passing until the right opportunity rather than a fast-pace offense with more shots. Maquoketa () is a city in Jackson County, Iowa, United States. Located on the Maquoketa River, it is the county seat of Jackson County. Arcadia High School is a public high school in Phoenix. The school has 1,680 students enrolled. Most of them come from feeder schools in the Scottsdale Unified School District.
