2020 Conference USA Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2020 Conference USA men's basketball tournament was to be the concluding event of the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, 2019–20 Conference USA (C-USA) 2019–20 Conference USA men's basketball season, men's basketball season. It was to be held from March 11–14, 2020 alongside the 2019 Conference USA women's basketball tournament, C-USA women's tournament in Frisco, Texas, at the Ford Center at The Star. The winner of the tournament was to receive the conference's automatic bid to the 2020 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, 2020 NCAA tournament. Only the first day of games were played before the tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Seeds Only 12 conference teams play in the tournament. 2019–20 Marshall Thundering Herd Men's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 Marshall Thundering Herd men's basketball team represented Marshall University during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Thundering Herd, led by sixth-year head coach Dan D'Antoni, played their home games at the Cam Henderson Center as members of Conference USA. They finished the season 17–15, 10–8 in C-USA play to finish in sixth place. They defeated UTEP and were scheduled to play Louisiana Tech in the quarterfinals of the C-USA tournament. Conference USA Men's Basketball Tournament
The Conference USA men's basketball tournament is held annually following the end of the regular season of NCAA Division I Men's Basketball. Format and hosts After the conference realignment, the tournament was held at FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee, for five seasons. It moved to the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the 2010, and then to El Paso, Texas, at the Don Haskins Center for 2011. It returned to FedExForum in 2012, and was set to be played there in 2013, as well. However, after Memphis' decision to leave Conference USA for what ultimately became the American Athletic Conference in 2013–14, the league decided to move the tournament to a site near a school remaining in the conference, ultimately selecting the BOK Center in Tulsa.
