2019–20 V.League Division 1 Women's
The Volleyball 2019–20 V.League Division 1 Women's was the 26th tournament year and the 2nd top level women's tournament of the newly branded and reorganized V.League (Japan). It was held from October 12, 2019 – January 26, 2020. Clubs Personnel Conferences The 2019-20 V.League Division 1 Women will be divided into two conferences of six teams each: Premier and Star. Foreign players The total number of foreign players is restricted to one per club world wide, and one per club from ASEAN nations. Transfer players Stadiums Schedule Regular Round begins October 12, 2019 (Saturday) and ends December 29, 2019 (Sunday). Matches are played every Saturday and Sunday. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the program at the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics. Hisamitsu Springs
is a women's volleyball team based in Kobe, Hyogo, Kobe city, Hyogo and Tosu, Saga, Tosu city, Saga, Japan. It plays in V.League (Japan), V.League 1. The club was founded in 1948. In July 2020 the team announced an official name change from "Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Springs" to "Hisamitsu Springs" and unveiled a new team mascot and logo. On August 7, 2020 Hisamitsu Springs concluded " a cooperation agreement with Tosu City to further revitalize the region and economy through the volleyball business, and we will proceed with concrete efforts".
