2019–20 Saint Francis Red Flash Men's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 Saint Francis Red Flash men's basketball team represented Saint Francis University (Pennsylvania), Saint Francis University during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Red Flash, led by eighth-year head coach Rob Krimmel, played their home games at the DeGol Arena in Loretto, Pennsylvania as members of the Northeast Conference. They finished the season 22–10, 13–5 in NEC play to finish in a share for second place. They defeated 2019–20 Bryant Bulldogs men's basketball team, Bryant and 2019–20 Sacred Heart Pioneers men's basketball team, Sacred Heart to reach the championship game of the 2020 Northeast Conference men's basketball tournament, NEC tournament where they lost to 2019–20 Robert Morris Colonials men's basketball team, Robert Morris. Rob Krimmel (born September 27, 1977) is an American men's basketball head coach who was the head coach at Saint Francis University (Pennsylvania), Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania from 2012 until 2025. Saint Francis University Krimmel was named the 21st head coach in Saint Francis University men's basketball program history, succeeding Don Friday who was fired after 4 seasons at the helm. Krimmel guided St. Francis to the 2025 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, 2025 NCAA tournament as Northeast Conference, NEC champions.
