2019–20 NC State Wolfpack Men's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 NC State Wolfpack men's basketball team represented North Carolina State University during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Wolfpack were led by third-year head coach Kevin Keatts and played its home games at PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). After winning its second round match-up with Pittsburgh in the 2020 ACC men's basketball tournament and before its quarterfinal match-up with Duke, the tournament was canceled due to concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic. Later that afternoon, the NCAA announced that all Winter and Spring championships would be canceled, including the NCAA tournament. They finished the season 20–12, 10–10 in ACC play to finish in a tie for sixth place. Kevin Keatts
Kevin Andre Keatts (born July 28, 1972) is an American college basketball coach who was most recently the head coach at NC State Wolfpack men's basketball, North Carolina State University. Early life and playing career Keatts grew up as an only child in Lynchburg, Virginia. His father was a masonry instructor at Amherst County High School, and Keatts worked as his apprentice on the weekends. He attended Heritage High School (Lynchburg, Virginia), Heritage High School and played point guard on their basketball team as well as quarterback on their football team. As starting quarterback, Keatts led the football team to be ranked the best in the state, losing only one game his entire career. He played basketball for Ferrum College, averaging 13.3 points per game by his senior year. Southwest Mississippi Community College is a public community college in unincorporated Pike County, Mississippi, in Summit, MS The college's district includes Pike, Amite, Walthall, and Wilkinson counties. History The college was officially started in 1908 as an agricultural high school. Sacha Liam Killeya-Jones (born August 10, 1998) is an American-British professional basketball player for Kawasaki Brave Thunders of the B.League. He played college basketball for Kentucky. High school career Killeya-Jones grew up playing football at the quarterback position. As a freshman at Woodberry Forest School in Woodberry Forest, Virginia, he played football, a year before giving up the sport in exchange for basketball, which better suited his height and build. For his final two years, Killeya-Jones transferred to Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg, Virginia.
