2019–20 Kansas City Roos Men's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 Kansas City Roos men's basketball team represented the University of Missouri–Kansas City during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Roos, led by first-year head coach Billy Donlon, played their home games on-campus at Swinney Recreation Center in Kansas City, Missouri as a member of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). The Roos finished the season 16–14, 8–7 in WAC play, to finish in fourth place. They were slated to be the fifth seed in the WAC tournament; however, the event was canceled as the initial breakout of the COVID-19 pandemic was commencing. This would be the Roos' last season as a member of the WAC, as they would rejoin the Summit League in July 2020 after a seven-year absence. On July 1, 2019, the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC) announced that its athletic program, formerly known as the UMKC Kangaroos, would officially be referred to as the Kansas City Roos. Western Athletic Conference
The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) is an NCAA Division I conference. The WAC covers a broad expanse of the Western United States with member institutions located in Arizona, California, Texas, Utah and Washington (state), Washington. Due to most of the conference's College football, football-playing members leaving the WAC for other affiliations, the conference discontinued football as a sponsored sport after the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season, 2012–13 season, left the NCAA's NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly known as Division I-A) and became one of the NCAA's eleven Division I non-football conferences. Gulfport High School
Gulfport High School (GHS) is a public high school located in Gulfport, Mississippi, United States. It is part of the Gulfport School District.
