Laugardalshöll (; also known as Laugardalshöllin and Laugardalsholl Sport Center) is a multi-purpose sports and exhibition venue located in the Laugardalur district of Iceland's capital Reykjavík. The complex consists of two main venues, a sports hall and indoor arena for track and field athletics events. Opened on 4 December 1965, it hosts a variety of sporting events, such as handball, basketball, volleyball and athletics, as well as various other events as a general purpose venue. Keira Breeanne Robinson (born December 20, 1994) is an American professional basketball player. In 2020 she was named the Icelandic Cup Finals MVP after leading Skallagrímur to its first ever Icelandic Cup win. High school Robinson played attended W. J. Keenan High School in Columbia, South Carolina. During her senior season, she averaged 20.1 points, 5.1 assists and 6.0 steals per game. College career From 2013 to 2017, Robinson played college basketball for the VCU Rams. She was the second player in the schools history to reach 1,000 points, 400 assists and 200 steals. Professional career After playing in Spain and Argentina, Robinson signed with Skallagrímur of the Icelandic Úrvalsdeild kvenna in September 2019. The Icelandic Women's Basketball Cup (Icelandic: Bikarkeppni KKÍ) is an annual basketball competition between clubs in Iceland. It is Iceland's first-tier cup competition, and is not to be confused with Iceland's former second-tier cup competition, the Company Cup. History and format The first edition of the Icelandic Women's Cup championship was held in 1975 and won by Þór Akureyri. All the rounds are played with a single game knockout format. The final four and the finals are played over a single weekend.
