2019–20 FC Alashkert Season
The 2019–20 season was Alashkert's eighth season in the Armenian Premier League and thirteenth overall. After the season was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Armenia, Alashkert finished third in the League, reached the quarterfinals of the Armenian Cup and were runners-up in the Armenian Supercup. In Europe Alashkert were knocked out of the Europa League in the second qualifying round by FCSB. FC Alashkert
Football Club Alashkert (), commonly known as Alashkert, is an Armenian football club based in the capital Yerevan, founded in 1990 in Martuni and after folding in 2000 re-founded in 2011. They currently play in the Armenian Premier League. The home stadium of the team is the Alashkert Stadium in Yerevan. The club headquarters are located on Saryan street 25, Yerevan. Although based in Yerevan they are in fact named after the historic town of Alashkert in the Western Armenia, now Eleşkirt. Alashkert have won the Armenian Premier League title on four occasions and the Armenian Cup once. The club has also won the Armenian Supercup three times. Henri Avagyan (; born 16 January 1996) is an Armenian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Ararat-Armenia and the Armenia national team. Professional Football Club Beroe Stara Zagora, better known as just Beroe (), is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Stara Zagora, that competes in the Bulgarian First Professional League, First League, the top division of the Bulgarian football league system. Taron Voskanyan (, born 22 February 1993) is an Armenian professional footballer who plays as a defender, most recently for Pyunik, and the Armenia national team. Club career Born in Yerevan, Armenia, Voskanyan was a pupil of the Pyunik Yerevan football school. In the sport of association football, a defender is an outfield player whose primary role is to stop attacks during the game and prevent the opposition from scoring. Aleksandar Miljković ( sr-Cyrl, Александар Миљковић, ; born 26 February 1990) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Armenian Premier League club Noah. Club career Miljković has passed Partizan's youth academy after which he was transferred to FK Teleoptik to gain experience. He was promoted to Partizan senior squad along with Adem Ljajić during the 2008–09 season. He debuted against FK Čukarički on 26 October 2008. Later on, he was sent back to Teleoptik. FK Radnik Surdulica () is a professional football club based in Surdulica, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian First League, the second tier of the national league system. Football Club Pyunik (), commonly known as Pyunik (), is an Armenian professional sports club based in the Kentron neighbourhood of Yerevan.
