The 2019–20 Big East Conference men's basketball season began with practices in October 2019, followed by the start of the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Kevin Willard
Kevin Schreiber Willard (born April 6, 1975) is an American college basketball coach and the incoming men's basketball head coach at Villanova University. Willard played basketball at Western Kentucky during the 1992–93 season before transferring to Pittsburgh to finish his playing career. Willard's father, Ralph Willard, was the associate head coach at Louisville and a former head men's basketball coach at Western Kentucky, Pittsburgh, and Holy Cross. Kevin Willard started his coaching career in the NBA ranks, working on the bench with coach Rick Pitino of the Boston Celtics. The Fairfield Stags men's basketball team represents Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut and competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference of NCAA Division I. Ed Cooley
Ed Cooley (born September 10, 1969) is an American college basketball coach and currently the head coach of the Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball program. Cooley held the same position at Providence College from 2011 to 2023, and Fairfield University from 2006 to 2011. In 2022, he received national honors as the Naismith College Coach of the Year. Additionally, he received the inaugural 2010 Ben Jobe National Coach of the Year Award. Early years Cooley was born on September 10, 1969, in Providence, Rhode Island, to Jane Cooley and Edward Smith. Steven Michael Wojciechowski (born August 11, 1976), commonly known as Wojo, is an American basketball coach and former player. In 2025, he joined the Utah Jazz coaching staff as an assistant coach following the NBA Call-Up. Wojciechowski previously served as the head coach of the Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G League affiliate of the Jazz. The Charlotte Hornets are an American professional basketball team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. David Antonio Leitao Jr. (born May 18, 1960) is an American professional basketball coach who is the head coach for City Reapers of Overtime Elite (OTE). He has previously been the head coach of the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League, DePaul University, the University of Virginia, and his alma mater; Northeastern University.
