2019 World Wrestling Championships – Women's Freestyle 50 Kg
The women's freestyle 50 kilograms is a competition featured at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships, and was held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan on 17 and 18 September. This freestyle wrestling competition consists of a single-elimination tournament, with a repechage used to determine the winner of two bronze medals. The two finalists face off for gold and silver medals. Each wrestler who loses to one of the two finalists moves into the repechage, culminating in a pair of bronze medal matches featuring the semifinal losers each facing the remaining repechage opponent from their half of the bracket. Yusneylys Guzmán
Yusneylys Guzmán Lopez (born 8 August 1996) is a Cuban freestyle wrestler. She is a gold medalist at the Pan American Games and the Pan American Wrestling Championships. She is also a three-time medalist, including gold, at the Central American and Caribbean Games. Guzmán competed in the women's 50kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. Guzmán lost to Vinesh Phogat in semifinal but still qualified to the final round of women's 50kg event at the 2024 Summer Olympics held in Paris, France as Vinesh Phogat, the original opponent of Sarah Hildebrandt was disqualified before the final game for being overweight by 100 grams. She lost to Hildebrandt, but would win the silver medal.
