The UCI Road World Championships – Men's time trial, Men's time trial of the 2019 UCI Road World Championships was a cycling event that took place on 25 September 2019 in Harrogate, England. It was the 26th edition of the championship, for which Rohan Dennis of Australia was the defending champion, having won in 2018 UCI Road World Championships – Men's time trial, 2018. 57 riders from 38 nations entered the competition. Dennis successfully defended his title, becoming the first rider since Tony Martin (cyclist), Tony Martin (2011 UCI Road World Championships – Men's time trial, 2011–2013 UCI Road World Championships – Men's time trial, 2013) to retain the rainbow jersey for the time trial. The rainbow jersey is the distinctive cycling jersey, jersey worn by the reigning World Cycling Championship, world champion in a cycling discipline, since 1927. The jersey is predominantly white with five horizontal bands in the Union Cycliste Internationale, UCI colours around the chest. From the bottom up the colours are: green, yellow, black, red and blue; the same colours that appear in the rings on the Olympic flag. The Oceania Road Championships are a series of road bicycle racing, road cycling races held annually to determine the Oceanian champion in each event. The event has been held since 1995 and consists of an elite and under-23 men's and an elite women's road race and time trial.
