2019 Southern Conference Women's Basketball Tournament
The 2019 Southern Conference women's basketball tournament was held between March 7 and 10 in Asheville, North Carolina, at the U.S. Cellular Center. Mercer defeated Furman 66–63 to earn their second consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament. Seeds Teams are seeded by record within the conference, with a tiebreaker system to seed teams with identical conference records. Schedule All tournament games are streamed on ESPN+. 2018–19 Mercer Bears Women's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Mercer Bears women's basketball team represented Mercer University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Bears, led by ninth-year head coach Susie Gardner, played their home games at the Hawkins Arena as members of the Southern Conference (SoCon). The Mercer Bears women's basketball team represents Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Southern Conference. History Mercer began play in 1970. As of the end of the 2017–18 Southern Conference season, they have an all-time record of 688–670.
