Chantal van den Broek-Blaak (née Blaak; born 22 October 1989) is a Dutch road racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI Women's WorldTeam . In 2017 she became world road race champion in Bergen, Norway. Van den Broek-Blaak also won several classic one-day races including Tour of Flanders, Amstel Gold Race and Strade Bianche. She retired in January 2025. Career Junior career Van den Broek-Blaak was the Dutch national junior time trial champion in 2006 and 2007. , previously Omloop Het Volk, is a one-day road cycling race in Belgium, held annually in late February. It is the opening event of the Belgian cycling season, as well as the first race of the year in Northwestern Europe, and holds significant prestige because of it. Since 2017, the race has been part of the UCI World Tour, cycling's top-tier professional events. The race starts in Ghent, Flanders and finishes in Ninove, Flanders. The race route covers the hills in the Flemish Ardennes, marking the start of the cobbled classics season in Europe. Rotem Gafinovitz (; born 9 June 1992) is an Israeli road cyclist, who rides for Hess Cycling Team. She participated at the 2012 UCI Road World Championships. Through May 2024, she had won six UCI races in her career, and had won the Israeli national time trial championships in road cycling four times. Gafinovitz represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics in cycling in the Women's individual road race. Early and personal life Gafinovitz was born in Modi'in-Maccabim-Re'ut, Israel. Alice Wood (née Barnes) (born 17 July 1995) is an English former racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Career Barnes enjoyed success at the UK School Games in Sheffield in 2011, where she not only won the individual mountain bike event, but also rode solo in the relay, beating the fastest of the four-rider teams by several seconds. She joined the British Cycling Olympic Academy Programme in 2013.
